Team Blume (2021) - full story

The story is not recommended for those under 15; potentially disturbing / violent scenes, self-destructive scenes, morbid philosophy, alcohol and cigarette use, milder swearing.

Part I - Introduction

 Thought - such a seemingly insignificant thing for the world around us, sometimes even for ourselves. Far in the past, I wanted to create something, to become a superheroine named Blue Rose, but I knew it would seem silly to others. No, they think that magic does not exist, they mostly believe only in the world around us, excluding religion as the only spiritual sphere they can believe in, rejecting all other sensations that surround us. Logic and thinking are spiritual, music is spiritual, dreams are spiritual. There are many more examples, but I am not here to discuss the spiritual sphere of life, but to transfer the magic from my thoughts to paper. Here, even reading is in that spiritual sphere, it is not only important whether you hold a book in your hands, but also what you read, reading is what creates different feelings in you, shows you someone's hidden world and makes you think.

 Team Blume was formed at a time when I was in the lower grades of elementary school. As I loved watching various superheroines on TV, it probably occurred to me to make my own team, but, you know ... Let's say that a person like me could never have four permanent friends to put in that "team", and it never occurred to me to create fictional characters for that, as I did for the story and my imaginary world. The only person who knew my "Team Blume secret" was the one named Yellow Dandelion, but a lot of time has passed since then, so I will introduce a completely new character who will not represent that person or have her characteristics, just to immediately mention that there is no confusion if she ever sees the story, I will try to have as little in common as possible, it is easier for me to work with new characters. That way, all the other characters will be completely new and with their different personalities that will not be inspired by real people. I will call myself Lilith as a character so that I would not constantly repeat my name, I would get a headache from my own name, plus I will enter the world of fantasy more easily.

Well, let's start slowly, so we'll see what comes out by the end.

Part II- "Once upon a time ..."

 It rang for break.

 I take the notebook to complete the drawing I started an hour ago. Five girls in dresses of five different colors ... Team Blume. There are Red Carnation, Pink Tulip, Yellow Dandelion, White Hyacinth and me, Blue Rose. That first night, I dreamed of myself in a dress like the one in my drawing, it was pink and during the dream it turned into an intense shade of light blue. At the end of the dream, white wings appeared on my back. Until then, pink was my favorite color, giving way to blue, and the dream encouraged me to think about creating a team similar to the ones I admired as a child. Roses were the first flower that came to my mind, no wonder why - everyone loves roses. However, maybe I am not worthy to call myself by the name of the queen of flowers, I do not possess the grace or beauty that would be identified with that perfection. Maybe ... maybe I just want to be worthy of her. I want to become that perfection.

 I was waiting for the classes to end, today there was an action of planting trees, so the whole class went to the meadow, every child from the primary and elementary schools will plant a tree of their choice. My choice was magnolia, a medium-sized tree whose pink flowers have an intoxicating scent during spring, I love trees that have large flowers because they ennoble even the most modest yards.

 There were really a lot of children, so much noice must have been heard for miles away. Near my tree was a cute little girl with a lovely hat and a pink dress, she had a seedling in her hands and she was trying to make a hole in the ground to plant it. I approached her shyly and asked, “Do you want me to help you?” The girl: “Okay. (I make a hole in the ground, she puts a seedling in the ground and buries it) Thank you, it goes very easily with someone's help! I am Amora, and you are?" Me: "I am Lilith. What is this tree you brought? " Amora: "Lilac. I think it's pink, at least that's what my mother told me. What is your tree?" Me: "Magnolia. It has fragrant flowers, just like lilac. I really like lilac, I have several colors at home in the garden." Amora (astonished): "I also like lilac! I love flowers, it smells wonderful and it's beautiful. And your tree sounds nice, I can't wait for it to grow to see the flowers! " Me: "We have to be patient about it, but it will be worth the effort."

 A tall girl close to us brought something that looked like a fruit tree, and then she approached us. Girl: "Hi, did you plant trees? I brought an apple tree, in a few years there will be a lot of fruit!" Amora:" We did. What's your name? " Girl: "Harmony. (she bends down and picks the dandelion, then blow into it and it disperses) This is fun, I like to blow out the dandelion, and my dad says that creates more dandelions because the seeds fly away, and then the meadow is full of flowers! Do you want us to pick flowers?"Amora:" Okay! "

 Amora was about my height, with two short ponytails and lighter hair than mine, the color of honey, and her eyes were brown. Harmony was taller than us by a head, what caught my attention was that her eyes had a purple sheen. She was dressed in a T-shirt, shorts and knee-highs, with light blonde hair slightly longer than the length of her shoulders in which she had a ribbon. They, like me, were ten years old, only they went to different schools.

 While walking, we saw two girls arguing - at first we thought that one of them was a boy because of her short black hair, but we understood from her speech that it was a girl. The other had black curly hair tied in two high ponytails, glasses, a chocolate skin tone, and black eyes. We approached them and Harmony asked what they were arguing about. Girl 1: "She tells me I plant too close to hers!" Girl 2: "Yes, it must be at least two meters apart, that walnut tree will grow a few meters! My tree will not grow that fast." Amora: "Don't argue about it!" I (show the free space): "It will be the best here, both trees will grow in height. We have both in our yard next to each other and there was no problem, but there still must be a bit of distance." Girl 1 (plants a tree): "My tree will be the biggest here!" Girl 2 (plants her own): "Is that the most important thing?" Girl 1 (wipes her hands): "Yes, it will be best seen!" Harmony (to another girl): "What's your name?" Girl 2: "Makena." Amora (to the first girl): "Come on, let's not argue, let's go pick flowers! What's your name?" Girl 1: "Rea. Picking flowers is boring, let's play ball there in the clearing! "Makena: "Okay!" Harmony: "Fine." Me (look at Amora): "Come on, it's going to be fun! " Amora (sighs): "Okay ... I don't like ball games, but we can play."

 We played until the sun started to set, and then we had to go home. Taking my things, I knelt next to the magnolia and whispered to her: "I want to make one wish - if I ever get together with four other girls around this tree, I want us to become Team Blume and save the world from evil, just like in my dream. I hope that one day I will be able to find friends for that, that I will no longer be alone. I want to become a Blue Rose. "

 A gentle breeze blew after my words, gently swaying the thin twigs of magnolia, and I took my bag, waved to the girls I was playing with, and headed home.

Part III- "Flowers in rainbow's colours"

 I stare out the bus window and lightly turn up the music on my phone. If I could I would turn volume up even higher, but my goal is not to damage the eardrum, this will be enough. A bunch of things are waiting for me now that I get to town, but I’ve already made a plan, and I think I’ll get everything done quickly and with as little fuss as possible.

  The bus reached the destination, and I went my own way. Eliminating one task at a time, I did everything on time, so I had time till bus to home. A fixed idea came to my mind to see the tree I planted, the hell would know why, so I headed there. It has long been more like a forest than a meadow that used to be here, along a few paths it was a very nice place to walk and relax. It was hard to find my tree next to hundreds of them, but the intoxicating smell helped the search. However, one big walnut tree was my navigation, its tree was the tallest in the whole young forest. I stood in front of a beautiful magnolia tree and was amazed at how much it has grown in these few years.

 I heard footsteps behind me. A girl my age approached me, so I winced and tried to pull myself together. She had thick black hair, black eyes and chocolate skin color, she almost looked familiar to me from somewhere. She wore a simple white blouse, jeans and glasses, which gave her an elegant yet casual look. Girl (addressed me): "This forest is really relaxing, I nowhere else calm down like when I come here." Me: "It really became beautiful. We planted these trees as children, and now they's bigger than us!" Girl (surprised): "You planted a tree too? Maybe we saw each other that day! (extends hand) I'm Makena. " I (shaking hands):" Lilith. I know you from somewhere, maybe we met once. " Makena (imagines): "I think I know you from somewhere too, but I couldn't remember right away... I have a great memory, but sometimes I forget something." Me: "Nothing terrible, I forget even my name, let alone everything else. Don't worry about it. "

  A girl in a pink dress, light brown-golden hair, was walking nearby, approached and picked a branch of lilac not far from the magnolia. Girl (smells lilac): "It smells wonderful. (looks at my tree) Oh, and this one has grown so beautiful too! It blossomed for the first time this year, I've been waiting for years to see what it will look like! It was worth the wait." Me: "So far there have been no flowers on the tree? " Girl: "No. It has only just opened its flowers." Makena: "Did you plant a tree too? " Girl: "Yes, this one. (points to lilac) You?" I (nodded): "Yes, I think I remember that day." Makena: "Oh, yes! Three of us and two other girls played! You're ..." Girl: "Amora. It's amazing we met again! It's been years since. (notices my backpack) Are you traveling somewhere?" Me: "Actually, I came here this morning and I'm going tonight, but something drew me to come here first ... What a coincidence." Makena: "Coincidence is unbelievable in this case, I admit it amazed me even through I don't believe in  coincidences. "

 We heard footsteps behind us again; a tall purple-eyed blonde picked dried dandelions behind us. It occurred to me that this might be another of the girls I was playing with, but so many coincidences would already be too much.

 Girl (approaches): "How beautiful these flowers are! Oh, and my apple will soon be riped. (turns to us) I really like spring!" Me: "Stupid question, but ... Are you maybe the girl who played with us that day when we planted the trees? " Girl (surprised): "Oh, I did play with some other girls that day! I'm Harmony, you may remember, although it was a long time ago." Amora (astonished):" If there were that fifth girl, we would all be together!" Me (smile): "This is amazing on its own, really." Makena: "What is the probability that this happen on the same day?!"

  In the immediate vicinity, another girl was talking on the phone, angrily going left and right. Girl: "I've been waiting for you here like a fool for an hour, and now you're telling me just like that you can't come? Go to hell, I'll find company for tonight, at least there are as many people as you want, so we'll talk about this tomorrow. (disconnects) "

 She had shorter purple hair shaved on the sides, with two strands framing her face, blue eyes and earrings along the earlobe. From the clothes, she wore tight pants and a tight sleeveless T-shirt, simple colors, the complete opposite of the striking colors and wide clothes that Harmony wore. She approached us and raised her hand in greeting. Girl: "What's up, some gathering? Can I hang out with you a little too?"

 We nodded, and she came closer and introduced herself: "I don't care about decency and stuff, but let's introduce ourselves - I'm Rea. So, what kind of plan are you making, are you going to do something fun?" Makena (recalls): "Rea? You're that fifth little girl! " Rea (wonders): "Hell yeah a little girl, in a little while they will call me madam... (shakes) Bro, creepy. Wish I could be a little girl and start over." Amora: "No, we hung out the day we planted our tree! You planted that big walnut tree that day! " Rea (lights a cigarette): ,, Eh?! How did you manage to find each other after so long? " Harmony: "Coincidence, we didn't look for each other at all! It just happened that all five of us got together!" Rea (looks at her with disbelief): "Are you kidding?" Me: "No ... Only if ... No, such things don't happen ..." Harmony: "What is it?" Me: "I made a silly wish when I was little girl, so it occurred to me that maybe ... Forget it, it feels stupid even to say it."

 I tried to find some words that would change the subject, but then we were all scared by one unexpected voice. "Why do you think your idea was stupid, Lilith?" We looked around and, completely out of our minds, got to conclusion that the magnolia tree next to us spoke.

  Rea (opens her mouth so that her cigarette falls out): "Uh, what the hell is this?!" Makena: "It's impossible that the tree spoke! The trees don't speak!" Amora (puts her hand over her mouth): "The end of the world has arrived! The trees spoke!" Harmony (smiles):" Wonderful!"

  The magnolia tree addressed me again: "Do you believe in miracles now, Blue Rose? The time has come to fulfill the mission, I hope you are ready for that. "

  A face was outlined on the bark of the tree, and we were now sure that just happened something that went far beyond the boundaries of the paranormal.

 Me: "Does that mean that ... Team Blume exists?" Magnolia: "Yes. You're old enough to use power rationally, at least I hope so." Rea: "What powers?" I (looking at her): "We have five powers, of which the fifth will take some time until we master the first four." Makena: "Although it's hard for me to believe in the tree that speaks, it's even harder for me to believe in powers..." I: "I believe you, but I'll try for any case... (inhale) The forth Team Blume power - Blue Rose! "

 My clothes were slowly replaced by a blue dress with black undersleves, blue elbow-length gloves, black leggings, a palm bun, green boots and a blue ribbon in my hair, complemented by a blue ribbon around my neck and blue crystal earrings. I couldn't believe that I managed to transform, but it seems to me that I was much calmer at that moment than the other girls, all kinds of emotions could be read on their faces.

 Magnolia: "Amora - you are a lovely Pink Tulip who paints spring gardens in the color of love. Rea - you are a passionate but also rebellious Red Carnation, a revolutionary. Harmony - you are the Yellow Dandelion that shines all around us like a little sun, in eternal harmony with nature and people. Makena - you are White Hyacinth, the herald of spring, with an intellect that passes into new spheres of the human mind. Try to transform yourself into your color now. "

 One by one, they transformed, remaining surprised as in previous events.

 Amora (looks at Magnolia): "Are we going to fight someone? I'm not going to fight anyone." Harmony:" Neither will I. " Rea: "Well, I will! Who are we going to kick?" Magnolia: "Take it easy, you're not going to fight right away, you have to prepare yourself first. I'll tell you first that you act in secret, this should remain a secret for the environment. " Makena: "It's not like someone would believe in this anyway." Magnolia: "You have five powers at your disposal: 1. Material things that you may need during the mission, the power will automatically forbid you greed by not reacting. This applies to jewelry, money, etc. 2. Teleportation, it will come in handy for you to get together quickly, especially since you don't all live in the same place 3. Weather control, you say the third Team Blume power and the number of the one of you that weather  belongs. You all have the weather you are most connected to. 4. Transformation and 5. Wings, the power you will gain over time. It will take you time to master them but I believe you will succeed. " Rea (looks at me): "You should be the most talkative because you know this, say something." I (bowed my head): "I don't know how capable I am to be a team leader, to save the world, to do anything. I'm not worthy. " Harmony: "Don't be so negative, I'm sure it's not like that. I like this, just so we don't hurt anyone."Amora:" Or to beat the bad guys only. " Makena: "That would be a good contribution to humanity." Rea: "I personally don't care about humanity and whether I will hurt someone, but I have nothing against fighting, it seems fun." I (looked at them): "We will try then, if there is a problem we will see what should we do then."

 That evening, I returned home by bus so as not to look suspicious, arranging with them to meet at the same place the next day.

Part IV - "The world we believe in"

 The next day we gathered again at the magnolia, we sat by the tree and listened to what our first mission would be.

 Magnolia: "A total of five enemies are preparing to destroy the human race for various reasons." Rea: "Only? Phew, five of us, five of them, at least we'll do it easily." Magnolia: "Unfortunately, it is not so easy, it will take effort and time. Their appearance will come chronologically, so you will fight one by one."Amora:" Who is first? Will it be difficult?" Magnolia: "The first is fairy Selina - she is located in Australia, which is a sparsely populated area, hidden from people there. Her desire is to completely restore nature from what pollutes and destroys it by destroying the species she considers responsible for it." Harmony:" Oh, then she is not a villain if she wants the well-being of this planet!" Magnolia: "She believes that people are to blame for the collapse of the planet. She wants to remove the homosapiens species completely." Harmony (folds her lips with her hand): "That's too much already. " Me (quietly): "No wonder she wants that, the human species has done a lot of damage to the planet." Magnolia: "It is possible that there is an army of other fairies, be prepared for that. That's why I mentioned that it will not be easy, regardless of your powers." Makena: "With good tactics, nothing will be a problem."

 We were sitting in a cafe waiting for a warning to appear on the Team Blume ring we received from Magnolia, that Selina had left her hiding place. We ordered drinks: Makena took coffee, Rea beer, Amora juice, Harmony and I took a cup of tea. Rea (begins): "So, what do any of you is interested in, how do you live and things like that?" Harmony: "I'm an environmental activist, I'm vegan and I'm committed to peace and freedom of life." Me: "It's wonderful, I'm not an activist myself but I support it all." Amora (Harmony): "So you're more for some new ideologies that have been imposed in recent decades. (drinks a sip of juice) I'm for traditional methods. In the first place, I believe that the family is the basis of everything, and that is our main purpose in life." Me: "And that's right, every species is planted to leave offspring, that's how our planet still survives. Although I do not plan to start a family, I understand that concept."

 Makena: "I believe that the world is based on logic. Science is what will bring the world to a whole new dimension." Harmony: "More like to a complete doom, most of the things that have been created so far have done more harm to the environment than contributed to progress." Makena: "But that's why civilization has progressed, look how much the world has changed in the last two hundred years!" Me: "You're both right. I believe that science can really create a lot of useful things, it should just be directed in different directions - just as something is detrimental, there must be something to the contrary for the sake of balance." Amora: "But science destroys what is natural, it goes against the natural order!" I: "I think that the very existence of the human intellect already goes beyond the natural order. I agree with you, because science sometimes plays too much with things that are part of nature, such as cloning, and I agree with Harmony that progress brings certain problems in the balance of animate and inanimate worlds, but also with Makena that science contributes to improvement on the other side and that logic is as important as instincts." Rea: "I believe that you have to fight for what you want in an aggressive way - in history, revolutionaries are mentioned the most, they are the ones who change the world, not those who believe in peace. (looks at Harmony) So many military leaders and warriors and only a few people like Gandhi, how do you explain that, peacemaker?" Harmony:" Because people don't want to resolve conflicts peacefully, it's easier for them to quarrel." Me: "For some reason it is so, it seems to be related to the instinct for survival. When we feel threatened, we attack as a defense, but at least the human species does not have to strictly follow that instinct, so we are given logic - people can do awful things in anger, so they are given logic to alleviate anger and prevent potential catastrophes." Harmony: "But does it really have to be a constant conflict between people? " Rea: "You don't seem to know what kind of society we live in." Makena: "That's right, although sometimes even logic can't control primary emotions." Amora: "Like when you fall in love with the wrong person and you know you can't convince yourself it's not good for you." Makena (looks at me): "What kind of world do you believe in? What do you care about, Lilith?" Me: "I don't have the feeling that the world is real, as if everything, including my life, is some imaginary world in which we are all lost. I'm interested in art, philosophy and psychology." Rea: "But this is reality, how can you spend your life in something that doesn't exist? There are such great things on this planet, do you miss them too? " Me: "I missed too much, but it doesn't matter to me anymore."

 Amora: "How are you going with the love plan?" Makena: "I just started seeing one young man, we'll see how it goes. You?"Amora: "I've been in a relationship for a year and a half, it seems to me that we have a chance for more." Harmony: "I'm still looking for my soulmate, although I wouldn't mind being surrounded by animals when I get old. I'd like that for sure." Rea: "I'm bored with relationships. Sometimes I just find someone for one night, but I don't have the nerve for those ceremonies and commitments." Amora: "Then how are you going to start a family?" Rea (takes a sip of beer): "I won't. I don't want such obligations in life." Amora (surprised): "One day you'll be sorry ..." Rea: "I won't. Life is too short to regret it." Amora (looks at me): "And you?" I (look at the table): "Something like Rea, only the reasons are different. Apart from those one-night stands, I'm for the "I'm not interested in things like that "system ." Rea (winks): "Then you have to try." Me: "I'll skip it, but thank you." Amora: "But how are you going to spend your life alone ..." Me: "I'm going to die soon anyway, I hope so. (Everyone looks at me) It doesn't matter."

 The announcement that it was time to fight saved me from embarrassing situation, so we got up and found a peaceful place for transformation and teleportation.

 We found ourselves in relatively warm Australia, which was a mild shock to the body compared to our temperatures, but there was no time to discuss it because a handful of fairies appeared in front of us, led by Selina. She had long lilac hair, a blue skirt and a green top, boots, two bracelets and a necklace in a golden shade and fairy wings. We were in dresses of the same cut and different colors, only our were hairstyles differed: Makena had an afro hairstyle, Rea had her hair combed back, Amora had two small buns on the top of her head, Harmony had two braids and I had a palm bun with two strands pulled forward. We could not activate the wings yet, but we had three powers to fight.

 Yellow Dandelion (looks at the fairies in amazement): "Wow... They're beautiful!" Red Carnation: "We're here to fight them, remember?" Yellow Dandelion: "Is there any chance that we can just convince them not to destroy the world instead of hurting them? I don't want to hurt them. " Me: "We'll try diplomacy, but I wouldn't have much hope of that. "

 We stood in front of Selina, the leader of the fairies. Me: "We come in peace, our goal is not to hurt you. Is there a way to peacefully prevent the destruction of the human species?" Selina: "Will they stop exploiting the land, polluting the water and soil? " Me: "I couldn't guarantee that for all of humanity." Pink Tulip: "Blue Rose, that statement will not lead us to the goal ..." Me: "I can't lie to her. We all know that won't change." Selina:" Will people stop keeping animals locked up in a small space and exploit everything these little creatures have, will they stop treating them as if their lives are worthless? " Yellow Dandelion: "Unfortunately, most likely not." Selina: "Will they stop destroying the bones and bowels of our planet in search of what they call treasure, fuel or ores?" White Hyacinth: "The world would perish without it!" Selina: "So will the human species perish, even before they destroy the Earth! (flies up)

 Red Carnation (looks at us): "We turned out to be the villains in this story. (shrugs)" I (sighed): "Although she's right, we can't let her put the plan into action. I hate to say this, but it's time to fight."

Part V - "Germination of Evil"

 The fairies set out on their mission. Red Carnation: "Let's want some gas and poison them all! That's the quickest way to get rid of them." Yellow Dandelion (stunned): "That's cruel! " Red Carnation: "Well, that's the point." Yellow Dandelion: "But then we do exactly what they want to eradicate our species for..." Pink Tulip: "Let's try the third power, the one for weather conditions. It won't kill them." I (thought):" Good. Red Carnation - No. 2, fog; Pink Tulip - No. 3, wind; Yellow Dandelion - No. 4, sun; White Hyacinth - No. 5, snow. I'm number one, rain. Teleportation in front of them, we're going all together at the same time. We're moving."

 We created ourselves in front of them, albeit on earth, but we activated the weather power where we are strongest. No matter how hard we tried, our powers were not very strong, but the disturbed weather conditions forced the fairies to retreat, mostly because their wings were sensitive. They returned to the shelter, and we teleported home.

 The next day I was lying on my bed thinking how bad idea all this was. When I was a child, I didn't see beyond glittering dresses and missions "to save the world". How did it not occur to me that because of that I would have to become a murderer at some point in order to succeed?! If I believe that we are all made of both good and evil, does that mean that I would kill someone who has his good side? Then who is the villain in that story? If I understand Selina's logic and agree with her, then am I a villain too?

 Suddenly, Rea burst into my room. Me (slightly elevated tone): "Did something happen?" Rea: "Oh, no ... I was bored. That's why I came. I went to Amora first, but I burst into at the wrong moment and ... . (rubs her arm) you know, she looks weak, but she knows how to hit pretty hard. " I (look at her): "You can't do that, power doesn't serve to break into other people's homes! What if, I don't know, I changed clothes or something like that ?!" Rea: "I wouldn't see anything I don't have. " I (rolling my eyes): "Oh, for the name of the world, why did I need this for in my life?" Rea: "You and Makena are so lost in the calculation of everything that you don't have fun at all! Look, day is wonderful and you stare at ceiling and you think about who knows what, go out a little, find some guy..." Me: "I don't want anyone." Rea: "Okay, find some girl if it suits you better, just live a little! You're the leader of a team that's fighting to save the world, and you have less enthusiasm than the leader of the pensioners' club! Well, speaking about it, there are very lively grandmas and grandpas over there, compared to them you look like you're dead." Me: "Wish I am." Rea: "We should go out somewhere together, what do you think about that?" Me (look at Team Blume's ring that lit up): "Your wish has already been fulfilled, it's time for a mission." Rea: "Oh, hell, we had a nice chat. It doesn't matter, let's go."

 We met the other three again at the place of the fight. White Hyacinth: "Do you have an idea for tactics?" Maybe they'll be ready for our attack." Red Carnation:" Selina should be taken care of, so these others will give up - she's just leading them." Yellow Dandelion: "How about to convince her that there also exist us who care about the well-being of this planet? Maybe she will give up." I (moving forward): "Although they are enemies, we will still try to solve this with as little damage as possible. I will go to Selina." Pink Tulip: "But she's stronger than you, you can't go alone!" Me: "Even if she kills me, what do I have to lose?" White Hyacinth: "Life?" I (departing): "It's worth the risk."

 Selina (seeing me): "Are you going to try to convince me to stop the mission again? What lies are you going to try to appease me with?" Me: "I'm not going to lie, I don't need to. Even, moreover, I understand your point of view. It's just ... There's a little problem with that. " Selina: "That I will destroy those who mean something to you?" Me: "No. You see, neither you nor I created that world or the people on it.  Five colorful air combats flew across the African sky. Team Blume has just moved on a battle from land and digital world to air.

White Hyacinth: "We cannot rely only on primary instincts, we are logical beings! Our intellect serves to control that urge!" Yellow Dandelion: "And war brings nothing but harm!" Me: "Haven't we gone through it several times in history and got a bunch of destroyed infrastructure, millions of corpses, even more injured and joint trauma?" Inferno (to me): "Just like you said - several times. How many wars were on the planet and people created them again? If people are already so smart, why do they repeat what only harms them? A human being cannot reach spirituality, our animal nature is always stronger." Yellow Dandelion: "That's not true, it's possible to find peace in ourrselves." Inferno (mockingly): "And maybe we are our own worst enemies."

 I looked into the distance, thinking about Inferno's last sentence. In any case, the Inferno's plan should not have been realized, so I said that we should move away and teleport to the planes, because there was no point in continuing the debate, it could have taken too long. Before I turned on the spacecraft, I thought - if we attack now, do we automatically support Inferno's theory that people really attack anyone who disagrees with them? Where is the line between defense and attack? In order to defend now we will have to attack, and the attack was never morally correct, but how do you know the difference? How many conflicts have become a real bloodbath precisely because, in order to defend, both sides attacked the other? Under the excuse of defending that “something” we most often defend ourselves; maybe all those argues, or at least a good part of them, start from our own insecurity or vanity?

 I was startled by Pink Tulip's voice over the loudspeaker: "Are we moving? We are waiting for instructions." Me (exhale): "Whether we like it or not, do we have a choice? We are moving. (we are firing planes and moving) "

 Inferno's and our aircraft clashed, but they were more numerous, so we upgraded our aircraft to resist so many attacks. When the planes were running out of power, we went out and activated the fifth Team Blume power while they fell down, destroying dozens of other military vehicles. We landed near Andor, which had previously fought a group of soldiers.

Amora (continues): "Rea is a tough girl, honest and spontaneous ..." Rea (interupts): "I thought, now she's going to say chatty, crazy as hell and stuff like that.  We worked out the tactics of the fight with Inferno, our goal was to capture him with as little destruction of the soldiers' lives as possible. We were a little worried that there were a hundred times more of them, Makena helped us with concentration exercises in order to use the powers as speed  and efficiently as possible, they were the only thing that could bring victory to us.

 We took the planes because that was the safest way, immediately colliding with the vehicles that fired the cannonballs at us. We destroyed a large number of combat vehicles, so the soldiers asked Inferno to surrender, which he did not want to agree to. He attacked us with the remaining aircraft, quickly destroying our aircrafts. We went out and kept ourselves in the air with our wings.

 Inferno (using a loudspeaker): "Are you giving up, you little colorful bothers? You are left without a combat vehicle, now you are like a fish on dry land." White Hyacinth (to us): "Should we create aircraft again or something?" Red Carnation: "Let's create a stronger weapon and ... (feel the sting) Uh, what the hell is this? (starts falling down) "

 We all felt a sting - they shot us with little arrows covered with some sedative, and we fell to the ground unconscious. They took us to the dungeons.

 I woke up with pain at the place where the stab wound was - the hell, I should have created the power for healing, that would mean a lot to us in moments like this, but it never occurred to me that you sometimes get injured in a fight. Inferno entered the dungeon.

 Inferno: "Five of you against my army - what recklessness! What you were thinking of?!" I (cynically): "The same as you when you decided to gather an army to destroy the world." Inferno: "I wouldn't destroy it, I would fix it! From these five hundred soldiers I would reach five thousand, from five thousand to fifteen thousand, I would increase the army by strategically conquering territories and capturing people, who would then have to fight for me! Now I have to take a few steps back because you destroyed my war vehicles, but I will go back to my plan. You won't see it, you'll be shot tomorrow morning." I (grinning): "You won't see it." Inferno: "Yeah, right, you can't do anything to me! (sees that my dress changes color to black) What are you trying to do now? What kind of trick is this?!" I (laughingly): "Oh, seems that someone got scared! So where did that fearless warrior who will conquer all the territories on the planet disappear? Are you fearless, but you lack a brain." Inferno (furiously): "Who are you to tell that I lack a brain?!" (he wanted to hit me, I shot him with a minor electric shock and he flies off the wall) You're a monster! "

 I (grinning): "I'll take that as a kind of compliment, but you're still the biggest monster here. Couldn't you, when you're so stuck in the war, invest in making the biggest nuclear bomb? That's how war is fought today, not with these toys of yours. Do you know why the world's most powerfull countries are so careful with their bombs? They can literally destroy life on Earth, making it radioactive and never inhabitable again. All nuclear bombs together, activated at the same time, would wipe out life from our planet. Well, that's how you should have fought, to make a little effort." Inferno (gets up): "You're lunatic, but you're right... I would conquer the whole planet with nuclear weapons! I will do that, I will contaminate the parts of the world that I want, then the others will agree to everything else in fear!" Me (yawning): "Uh, you're boring... Okay, well, I gave you some time to imagine that you've achieved something in life too." Inferno: "Make me a bomb! I'm sure you can to do it! " I (bursting out laughing): "If I want to destroy the planet - why would I leave that pleasure to you?" Inferno: "I will not let you out of that dungeon until you create a bomb for me!" I (rolling my eyes): "Why the hell are you just shouting all the time, you're hurting my ears with your yelling... I understand that you have problems with anger control, but I'm not deaf, I can hear you very well. So... I'm not coming out of this dungeon until you let me go?" Inferno:" That's right. I'll spare your lives if you and your friends make me a nuclear bomb." Me (laughs): “Generous. The second Team Blume power - in front of the door of this dungeon! (I create myself in front of the door and lock it from the outside) Oh, I forgot to mention to you that I have the power of teleportation, how rude of me." Inferno (holding metal bars on the door): "Let me out right now and create that bomb until I order them to kill you all!!!" Me (cynically): "I will not allow a immature fool like you to interfere in my mission. This world can only have one ultimate villain... and that's me. You are unworthy to be even my servant. (I touch the metal bars and create electricity that burns Inferno to ashes) "

 I open my eyes and see the ceiling in front of the dungeon. I got up slowly and walked down the hall, where I met the other girls and Andor. Red Carnation: "We just went to find you... Andor pulled us out and took care of the guards." White Hyacinth: "Although it wasn't necessary, we would manage." Me (looking around): "Where's Inferno?" Pink Tulip: "We didn't see him, it's weird he didn't do anything." Yellow Dandelion: "Have any of you seen that mysterious person appearing and charring enemies?" Andor: "What a mysterious person?" Me: "At the end of the previous two missions, a strange force appeared and after it, the enemies were completely fried, it charred them." Andor (startled): "Now you say that? Maybe it's here somewhere! (putting himself together) I mean, I will fight it! Let it come to me if it's not scared!" Yellow Dandelion: "No need, it looks like it won't show up this time."

 We went outside where the soldiers were standing around a clay jar, we came to see what it was about. Soldier (seeing us): "You came out of the dungeon ?! (to another soldier) Should we return them or let them go? Maybe they killed Inferno!" Yellow Dandelion (surpised):" He's dead? No, we didn't kill him, we didn't even see him." White Hyacinth: "How did he died?" Soldier: "We found his ashes in one of the dungeons! Our leader was killed!" Pink Tulip: "So, that person came again and killed the enemy... I don't like this at all." Andor (looks around): "How do you know he won't attack us too? Maybe he wants to kill us all?!" Me (to the soldier): "We have a person here who is worthy to be your leader. (I point to the Red Carnation) She will lead you into battles for a better world, instead of losing your head to destroy the planet. You will fight for a better tomorrow, not for the fact that tomorrow no longer exists. You will fight for your descendants to have a future, not for leaving them corpses and damage, or for us to contaminate their planet for all eternity. Let your battle be for the creation of something new, not for the destruction of everything." Soldier: "All right, so be it." Red Carnation (to me): "Do you think I can do this? I'm too fast, what if I make a problem or something...?" I (nodded): "You have that fearlessness needed for a leader, and I believe in you that you won't let aggression overwhelm you like Inferno, a militant leader is not a good leader. She stayed with the army until the end of the day, we returned home.

Harmony: "Fascinating! Why would a person with that power be a villain? Where are we going this time?" Magnolia: "Cataleia used to be the leader of Cupid-like creatures, she connected people, and then her heart was broken and she became a villain." Me (quietly): "I can understand her. It's strange to me that I'm not a villain either, instead of being a superhero." Magnolia: "The goal is to destroy civilization by taking away the feeling of love, the location is the Asian continent."

 Amora: "If she destroys the feeling of love, civilization will really fail." Makena: "It can work without it." Amora: "Think about it, if you divide people who love each other, then there would be no marriages, no children, maybe there wouldn't be a larger part of art! The world would be a cruel place." Harmonies: "There are different kinds of love; for nature, animals, some kind of art, hobby... Having all that in mind, then I don't even know how the world can function." There would be no enjoyment of something, no care for anyone, egoism would become a part of every being, but those beings would not be able to love themselves either, so their dissatisfaction would be even stronger." I (shrugging): "Sounds like everyday life, we are already surrounded by it." Magnolia: "Believe me, this would be even worse. That feeling that nothing causes you positive sensations - what kind of world would that be?" I (quietly, to myself): "My world. I already live in such a world." Amora (to Magnolia): "Alas, such a person would be able to hurt herself and others without problems, we certainly do not want a world in which everyone is like that! (I panic and go) Where are you going, Lilith?" I (nervously): "I have to ... finish some work." Rea: "She's right, we could take a break, finish our work, and we'll slowly get to know Cataleia and see what can be done." Harmony: "Can we just return her hope in love, to give that feeling back to her? I'm sorry that we hurt her just because she had this difficult circumstance to have her heart broken, it's not her fault." Amora (sadly): "Yes, although it is selfish to hurt others because of our own pain, I agree with Harmony. Can it be sorted out that way?" Me (nervous): "You know what? If you are asking me you can kill me too if it's already so dangerous to be emotionally numb, but you know how many people that feel nothing exist in this world? Should we all get killed?!" Magnolia: "Cataleia has a great power and will harm the whole world!" Me: "Well, I have power too - will I destroy a humankind or whatever?!" Magnolia: "It's better not to answer on that question." Me: "This is too much for me. I am sure that girls can defeat Cataleia on their own. The first Team Blume power - gun! (nothing happens) Why the hell it's not working? The first Team Blume power - rope! (again nothing) I lost my powers?" Magnolia: "You didn't, but you can't do anything before we stop Cataleia." I (shout): "How?! How to stop her when I understand her?! Both her, and Inferno, and Glitch, and Selina, probably even the last enemy!" Magnolia: "Ironically, that last enemy is the one you understand the least. Anyhow, Team Blume has five members, not four, and you are a team leader." Me (glance full of pain): "I am not a freaken leader, I am not worthy to lead anyone! I am unworthy of these powers, unworthy of blue colour, unworthy of the name of the flower's queen! I am not a Blue Rose, I am an ordinary damn weed in the yard that is supposed to be pulled out from the ground! (start crying) I just wanted to be worthy of life." Magnolia (touches me with one branch): "There is still humanity inside of you, take care of that side so that other side don't overwhelm all of you." Me (wipeing my face): "Which the other side? Please, find a new member, let me go away." Magnolia: "I will let you only to go and sleep, take a rest and prepare for the fight when you get better." Me: "It's like this for years, it won't get better." Magnolia: "There is a good reason why you are the leader - not because you have the most striking personality or the strongest warrior spirit, but because you connect other members. You are bond between war and peace, progress and tradition, logic and feeling, tenderness and rigour. The weakest side of yours has become your the biggest demonstration of strenght." Me: "You forgot only one important thing - the person who combine all this concepts is losing her mind over time, she becomes a chaos. I am a crazy person. To all people I look like a boring person without her own opinion because I understand everyone else's opinion." Magnolia: "Tonite I will not return power to you for any case, I'll just return you back home. Take a rest, team needs you even through you might not think so."

 She teleported me back home where I soon felt asleep, trying to put myself together for the next fight.

Part XI - "Coldness in the heart"

 Just like the other three times we wanted to meet the enemy before we attack. Cataleia lived in the mountains, cut off from the world. She chased Cupids away long ago, she couldn't look at something  that reminds her of what she used to be. It was very cold when we teleported near her cottage.

 Pink Tulip (freezing): "W... w... Why would anyone c... c... come to l... l... live here?!" White Hyacinth (makes a white jacket): "This way is better, it's a bit warmer." Yellow Dandelion: "Everything is covered with snow, it's better to adapt to current conditions." Me (nod with my head): "Upgrade clothes so you could stay warm, don't freeze for nothing." Rea (seeing that I stay in the same clothes as before): "What about you? You'll catch a cold like that." Me (numbly walk forward): "I feel like creating dress like Elsa's, to sing "Let it go" while I create an ice castle where I will stay till the rest of my life and eventually die of hypothermia after a while. Let's go."

 Somehow Andor appeared in front of us. Andor: "It's you again? I will take care of this." Red Carnation: "How do you know for Cataleia? Wait a minute... Are you that enemy that killed last three enemies, so you are following us now again?!" Andor: "And how could I kill Inferno if I was with you?" Pink Tulip: ,,True, he couldn't. Then how you know for this mission?" Andor: "If I tell you you will think that I am crazy. The tree told me for the previous and for this mission." White Hyacinth: "Magnolia?" Andor: "What? No, an oak. I had always wanted to be ancient warrior, the tree gave me powers... Now you certainly think that I am crazy." Yellow Dandelion: "Actually, no, we also have our three. Blue Rose planted it." Andor: "Oh, unbelievable! Who knows, maybe we have planted trees on the same place (winks)." Red Carnation: "Then we would have to be from the same place, but we have to protect our identity so it's better to avoid going further with these informations." Andor (nods his head): "I agree, my identity is a secret too, we won't go on with that topic."

 Door was opened by a tall slim girl of indigo eyes and indigo dress with one half longer and the other short, short neat hair that framed head and with two long beams that felt in front loosely, also in indigo colour.

  Cataleia: "Visitors? I get away from everybody and yet they find me again, how wonderful. I assume that you have some reason because no one can come here by mistake."  Andor (looks at her full figure): "Hey, you are too attractive to hide in this wasteland, I expected someone like the one I went to a coffee shop with several days ago - well, that one should isolate here, not such a beauty like you." Cataleia: "What brings you here and what do you want?" Andor (flirting): "I would like to take you home if I could." Red Carnation (pushes him): "Come on, get away! (to Cataleia) We came because of your plan to take away emotion of love from people. We don't want you to make a monsters out of human race." Cataleia (indifferent): "Aren't they a monsters already?" Pink Tulip: "No! They are passionate beings with so much love for different things! We understand that you are mad at the whole world, but you can't take away that feeling from us! To me personally love is the most important thing on the world,  I will fight for it until the end." Cataleia: "I can speed that process of plight to you if you are already so decisive to fight, it's all the same to me whether you suffer or not because even torture isn't bringing any satisfaction to me." White Hyacinth (to Yellow Dandelion): "Is it possible that someone can be this emotionally empty inside?"

 I just wordlessly stared at Cataleia, feeling heaviness in my lungs. For the long time ago I wanted to leave everything and go to the mountains, cut myself off from the world, there where I will never again see any other human being, if I can even consider myself a human being. Blue colour represents coldness, and here blue and black melted into the dark blue, which is otherwise my favourite colour, so there is a combination of chaos and coldness that freezes everything in front of it - without a mercy, without regret. Cataleia in her indigo robe is exactly that, chaos born from the void. 

 Cataleia: "You have no power to stop me, but I will not risk for any case. (casts a spell and we find ourselves in different portals)"

In the first portal were Yellow Dandelion and White Hyacinth, in the second Red Carnation and Pink Tulip, in the third Andor and I.

 Portal 1: White Hyacinth looked around, everywhere was a greenery. White Hyacinth: "First we have to establish where we are and how to get out of here." Yellow Dandelion: "The second Team Blume power - exit from portal! (power isn't working) It can't be teleported back." White Hyacinth: "Magnolia said that our teleportation isn't working when the time is changed, so we are now in some diferent time." Yellow Dandelion: "You mean, she send us back to the ancient times?" White Hyacinth: "It's enough that she returned us to a moment before that, but there happened disruption of time and our power still wouldn't work. Let's try to at least get communication with the others."

 Portal 2: Red Carnation and Pink Tulip walked through the portal that looked like a abandoned house from which they couldn't get out. Pink Tulip: "This place scares me, it looks so eerie." Red Carnation: "Yeah, isn't  it awesome?! Oh my, this would be so much fun if we weren't on the mission and that we don't have to get out from here." Pink Tulip: "You have any idea? Maybe there is some hole in the portal through which we could get out." Red Carnation: "Hm, let's search room by room, we will surely find an exit." Pink Tulip (nods her head): "Let's try with that." 

 Portal 3: I rolled my eyes when I saw that Andor was in the same portal as me. Swell, this will be bothersome. Andor (comes closer to me): "We are left alone, isn't it wonderful?" Me: "No. She captured us in the time and space, what is wonderful in that? Wish she captured only me, I would never get out, this way is better to find way out as soon as possible." Andor (stands next to me): "Are you afraid to stay alone with me?" Me: "Yes. I am scared that I will freak out and strangle you here, they would never find you." Andor (looks at me while I try to find an exit from the portal): "You are too aggressive, I like you less and less." Me: "And I am glad it's like that, wish you don't like me at all. However, you like an ilussion of what you think about me, not what I really am, so your ilussions will soon burst and you will leave me alone. It usualy goes like that." Andor: "I hate to give up, but it's better to give up from you. I've seen reserved and cold girls, but never such an iceberg like you. Do you even have a feelings?!" Me: "Not towards you. At least not possitive ones. Let go of chatting now and try to get out of here, Cataleia is a serious opponent." Andor (moves): "Fine, I usualy don't listen to other's commands but it's crucial to me as well to get out of here as soon as possible."

 Portal 1 and 2: White Hyacinth gets a connection with Red Carnation and Pink Tulip. White Hyacinth: "Did you find an exit?" Pink Tulip: "We can't - the doors are closed, we looked in the rooms because we are in some house. Where are you?" Yellow Dandelion: "In some rain forest. Seems that we are stuck in the past, but Blue Rose and Andor aren't in the same time level with us." Red Carnation (shouts from the basement) "Here is one secret corridor, let's try to get out!" Pink Tulip: "We'll walk through that corridor, it might be an exit through the portal. (she and Red Carnation carefully walk through the tunnel, on which's ending was a blue light)"

 Yellow Dandelion recommended to plant a magnolia tree in the forest, which would possibly connect with their Magnolia and return them back to their world. With the help of the first power they created a magnolia seedling, created sun and water (White Hyacinth's snow melted and  became water) and speed its growth. When it was big enough they put hands on the bark and tried to connect with Magnolia from our forest. They successed and they found themselves next to Magnolia, where Red Carnation and Pink Tulip were waiting for the rest of us.

 Portal 3: Walking on the empty road took too long, it seemed that the road was endless. We thought that portal was in the end of a road, maybe it was, but there was no end of a road and time flew by, even through we were captured in a moment and actually no time passed since then. We sat on the road to rest.

 Andor (looks at me): "There is no exit from here." Me: "There is one, we just can't find it." Andor: "I can't understand how such a brave girl like you let herself to become an iceberg." Me: "Neither can I understand how such a well-read person as you became a chauvinist." Andor: "I am not a chauvinist just because I look for a partner according to tradicional values. Wait, when did I tell you about my education? I don't remember we got to that topic." Me (rethink): "Oh, seems like I mixed it up with someone else. My mistake." Andor: "No, you are right, I am well-read even through now I may look like some savage to you, this is channeling of one part of my personality. I surely won't dress up in some simple clothes while I go to the fight, I assume that five of you don't wear these colourful dresses in private neither." Me: "That is true, I wear black all the time, everywhere. This combination was created when I was a kid, back then I loved light-blue colour. Now I love royal blue, but I still love this shade as well." Andor: "And, what is the answer to the question I just asked? Why did you close your heart?" Me: "I don't have heart and feelings. They simply vanished. Thought of love isn't intriguing me, moreover, I am shuddered by it. Now you answer my question." Andor (inhales): "That answer didn't give me too much of informations, no one comes to that point just like that. Fine, let me try to answer yours... It's a little personal, don't think that I am weak because I talk this."  Me: "On the contrary, I will think that you are bigger hero because the real hero accepts and side of feelings." Andor: "I grew up more with my grandmother than with my mother, she wanted to work, to be a fashionable woman, to dress up stylish. She always wanted to be a leader and to command, that's why my father left, he could no longer bear her caprices. Grandmother and grandfather lived in very traditional marriage, grandmother listened to grandfather, did chores, took care of her children and later of me, from them I got that affection towards the old things, but also their family values that passed from one generation to another. As these were parents of my father they always praised him and insulted my mother, maybe that's why it may seem to you that sometimes I hate females. Sometimes I forget that you are sensitive beings. I mean, females in general, you personally are scaring me a bit." Me: "Then it's more clear to me how your psyche works. And yes, I agree that probably had the biggest impact on you. You know, there are women who both work and take care of a family, same as there are such men. Strong men have women with strong personalities next to them, the ones who equally fight along with them because his role isn't to take all the responsibility and psysical work on his back, same as her role isn't to be a servant.  Men with weaker personalities are searching for someone they could manipulate, sometimes even psychically or mentally hurt but, you know, woman is not always weak is she allows that. Sometimes she forgives even more than she should just to prevent family from falling apart, to keep the harmony, but harmony in that case doesn't even exist but it's only imaginary. Anyhow, don't search a girlfriend by someone else's values, but search the one that will be for you and that you will respect as the other half of your soul." Andor (nods his head): "Maybe it is about time to face it, who knows what could I become over time. That what you said has some logic in it, hope that one day I will find someone equall to me. (sigh) I didn't know you have so much empathy inside." Me: "I don't know if I would call that empathy as much as looking at situation from the different angles. Sorry I threatened you with death." Andor (laughs): "I didn't even think of that seriously. (inhales) Why is your flower blue rose, when blue roses don't exist in the nature?" Me: "Breed of rose "Blue Moon" is shade between pale blue and purple colour in a process of blooming, it served as my inspiration. When I was a child I had some old catalog with roses and there I saw picture of that rose, but on the picture it's intensive blue colour, it was probably a photoshop but I didn't know it back then. I was delighted by her uniqueness among all these roses, even through now I know that natural blue rose doesn't exist,  she fascinates me to the day. For me she represents much more than beautifull flower; for me she is an uniqueness, power, spiritual sphere of life, endlessness of the human mind, perfect blue as the reflection of the purest water, like this sky above us... (looking up to the sky) Portal. Sky is an exit of a portal." Andor (looks up): "Even if you are right we can't reach out there." Me: "We can. The fifth Team Blume power! (wings open) Hold on, we are going up!"

Part XII - "Bad old times"

We got out of the portal and found ourself in the foot of the mountain where Cataleia was. Me: "We managed to get out. Do you need a transport?" Andor (moves head left and right): "An oak brings me back to the place I live in, so I am going. The other members of the team awaits for you as well." Me (nod): "Fine, then let's go back to our bussiness, through I don't doubt that we'll see again on some of the following missions." Andor (waves before leaving): "It's sure that we will."

 I teleported back to the Magnolia, where I joined the others. It was more than clear that Cataleia owns a great power and that is hard to make any strategy, especially because she could send us again to another time or the paralel world, from where it would be impossible to defeat her, and we didn't know if there was a way to prevent that.

 The next day we went to the Magnolia, meeting Arik in the forest. Amora: "Arik, what are you doing here?" Arik: "I come here for a while. (seeing me and Rea) Oh, your friends are here too." Rea: "Yeah, all together." Arik: "I am going now, see ya later!" Amora (waves to him): "Okay, see ya!" Rea (when he moved away): "Man ran away from us. Where is he going?" Harmony: "Probably enjoys in nature, nothing unusual."

 We were at our place for a while, planning to again try to defeat Cataleia tomorrow, but then it stared to get dark outside. When we got back to the path Rea couldn't calm down, so she turned to the path where Arik went. We went after her.

 Makena (to Rea): "Why are we doing this now?" Rea: "That guy seems suspicious to me." Harmony: "He probably went home long ago, let's go back, it's getting dark." Amora (notices Arik in the distance): "There he is. Here, it's nothing, to return back now?" Me: "Is he talking with the tree? That's an oak tree, isn't it?" Makena: "Yes, it's an oak... You think that's Andor?!" Rea (hurries forward): "Now we'll see."

 We got closer. Amora: "Arik, did you just talk with the tree?" Arik (nervous): "What? No, not a chance... How to talk with the tree, that's impossible..." Rea: "Boy, we saw you. You are Andor, aren't you?" Arik (surprised): "How do you know for Andor?!" Me: "So, it is you. You are Andor." Arik (shocked): "Then you are a Team Blume! Thats how you know that I am Andor! (points to Makena) You are White Hyacinth, (points to Harmony) you are Yellow Dandelion, (points to Rea) you are Red Carnation, (points to Amora) you are Pink Tulip and you... (points to me) ... you are Blue Rose. Unbelievable." Me (revolted): "Yeah, who would say, it must be a big disappointment to see that Blue Rose is actually an ordinary unatractive lunatic for whom is better to isolate herself somewhere in the mountain instead of Cataleia. (to girls) Excuse me, I have to go. (leaving)" Harmony: "Lilith, he might not think that way... She's gone." Amora: "I know you for more than a year, I couldn't even guess that you are Andor! How did that happen?" Arik: "Back in time when I planted this tree I was opsessed with a cult of a warrior, I wanted to be a brave warrior one day. Recently, before the battle with Inferno, I came here and wished that it could be fulfilled, then I found myself dressed as a warrior, gave myself name of Andor and went aganist Inferno. That is, more or less, the whole story." Makena: "Similar thing happened to us as well, Lilith made a wish while we were kids, years after it we encountered and activated that wish. You know the rest of it."  Arik: "Of course, I will remain silent about your secret, hope that would do the same for mine." Rea: "Absolutely, colleague. (looks to the sky) It's getting dark, shall we go, girls?" Harmony: "We'll go. Tomorrow is a big day, we'll go to Cataleia again." Amora: "You will be there?" Arik (nods): "I will come. We will be stronger when we unite."

They went their way and Arik, after he got back to the main path, went to Magnolia. I sat under the tree, looking as a shadow from the distance as visibility was drastically weaker.

 Arik (comes closer): "I assumed that you are here... I didn't want to say that thing yesterday, I am sorry, I had really messed up." Me: "It's okay, I am used to it." Arik (sits next to me): "Are you bleeding? What are you doing?! (panic) Stop with that, you will kill yourself!" Me (indifferent): "Wish I could." Arik: "Give me that razorblade." Me: "I won't. (returning it back to my pocket) Go away." Arik (ripping part of his T-shirt and takes my arm by force): "You cut yourself because of my words? (puts bandage on my arm) I didn't think that." Me: "You did, but you are right. Don't feel bad because of it, you are damn right and it's damn true fact!" Arik: "It's not! When will you realise it's not?! Several days ago we were in bad terms, and yesterday you accepted what was the hardest part of my life, you are not like Cataleia! Fine, you can't be in a romantic relationship, but you can't convice me that you have no feelings. (lifts my hurt arm) People who have no feelings don't do this, but the ones who can't endure the flood of emotions." Me: "I need to be alone." Arik: "To leave you here to kill yourself?!" Me: "I won't kill myself, just go. Leave me alone, all of you. Nobody is ever good enough to you people. I would ask you to leave me alone with my resentfulness, we have a mission tomorrow and I need to put myself together for it. Oh, yes... The first Team Blume power - new shirt! (new T-shirt is created on Arik) In order not to go through the town with you shirt ripped, you respectable people take care of your reputation. Hideous people like me don't give a damn what do we wear, we look awful in everything." Arik: "Lilith..." Me: "Go away." Arik (quietly): "Take care. (leaves)"

 The next day we showed up in front of Cataleia again. Cataleia: "Instead of being grateful for getting out of my portals, you came back for more? I will send you there where you will be powerless to fight and where you won't have a time to even think about me. (casts a spell and again sends us to the another time)

 Morning. Amora slowly wakes up and goes to the kitchen, greeting her five grandchildren. Amora: "Children, what should your grandma prepare for you today?" Granddaughter 1: "Donuts!" Grandson 1: "Pancakes!" Grandson 2: "A pie!" Granddaughter 2: "Cookies!" Granddaughter 3: "Pudding!" Amora (smiles): "Oh, kids, grandma can't prepare it all today. Let's make pudding and donuts today, pancakes and a pie tomorrow and cookies the day after tomorrow? Is that fine?" Grandchildren: "Yes!" Amora (smiles): "Then your grandma will go to market, and then we will cook and bake when I come back."

 Makena is getting ready for work. She's getting dressed into elegant bussiness suit, putting pearl necklace on and leaves. Her older son is welcoming her at work. Makena: "Did your father arrive?" Son: "Dad didn't arrive yet. Why did you hurry? You could rest a little bit more." Makena: "If your father and I rested now we wouldn't have this corporation, plus I don't want to go to retirement. You can still have use of us." Son: "Of course we have use of you, (kisses her on cheek) I just don't want you to work so much, enjoy life a bit." Makena (looks around): "This is my enjoyment, son, and knowing that there is someone to continue it. (goes to the office)"

Harmony wakes up in the bed surrounded with dogs and cats. Harmony: "Good morning, my little babies! Are you hungry? (they all go to the kitchen where she gives them food) That's right, eat it all to grow up! (sits at the table) Ay, my little ones, I am getting old. I worry what will happen to you when I go. I hope it won't be too soon, but who knows... (takes three breads from the bag) I am going to give some bread to the abbandoned puppies and kitties, they are also hungry and there is no one to feed them. I will get more bread for lunch, be good until I don't come back!"

 Rea is at her appartment, she is getting up later than the others. She is dressing up in a clothes that would better suit to a thirty year old woman than to sixty-five years old, but she isn't bothered with that at all, she doesn't want to give up fight with ageing. She is creeped out even by the fact that someone might tell her that she is old, that's why she gives a lot of money for botox, firming the skin, the most expensive creams. She really does look young for her age, it is true, even through it's more credit of these treatments than of the Mother Nature.

 I am waking up at hospital, psychiatry department. I don't remember anything - my life, people, I don't know what is happening around me. Every day the doctors tell me that I have a dementia, but that persistently vanish from my brain, I can't learn any new information. Allegedly I am here for years, but I don't even remember how did I get here, or how these people are called... I don't even remember who am I.

Part XIII - "Meeting of the Generation"

 "We will build a large residential complex here! Every tree will be cut down, I don't care how old the trees are!" - shouted the mayor at the place where the forest is. Arik, like an idle old man who heard that there would be works, came to the forest to see what kind of facilities he would build and for what kind of nebuloses they would cut down a forest more than half a century old. He looked sadly at every tree, and the intoxicating smell of magnolia drew him to it. He commented quietly: "Oh, forest beauty, they will cut you too! What are the young generations, nothing is sacred to them! Damn it with their constructions, to destroy such beauty from the forest, bloody hell with them! Eh, let them die of an air pollution then - well, they should! "

 Magnolia began to wake up, frightening Arik. Magnolia: "Arik, you are in the time portal, you have to get out of there!" Arik: "You are talking?!" Magnolia: "You are my only hope - gather Team Blume here around me, it's the only way to get out of the portal to which Cataleia sent you. Hurry until they start cutting, if they cut me down you'll never get out of here, and Cataleia will make her plan happen! "Arik (anxiously): "How do I find them? Do you think I can do it alone? " Magnolia: "That is the only thing that can be done. The easiest way is to bring Harmony, just say that they will cut down the trees and she will come, she is in the suburbs and has a lot of animals, she has a small yellow house with a yard full of flowers, you can't go wrong. Amora is in the family house, she lives with her husband in a smaller building and her son lives in a bigger building. Her daughter got married, she has a total of five grandchildren, you will find her if you go to the market because she went there. Rea lives in the very center of the city, she tries very hard to preserve her youth and I know that she will go to a beauty salon today, she has short purple hair, so you won't have a hard time recognizing her if you see her. Makena is a little harder to bring here, she owns a company with her sons and husband, it will be hard to convince her to come because she works during the day and goes home immediately in the evening. Lilith ... you'll have the hardest time bringing her here, she's in the hospital, in psychiatric treatment. She has a more severe form of dementia, she doesn't remember anything and they don't let her out of the hospital. "Arik:" We'll convince them to let her go, at least until everyone gathers here. Is there anything else? " Magnolia: "No, just bring them here, that's the only way I can bring you back to the present."

 He found Harmony first. Arik: "Are you Harmony? Magnolia told me that your house is yellow, with flowers and a lot of animals ... Am I wrong? "Harmony: "No, you're not ... You look familiar to me, I don't know how do I know you. " Arik: "They want to cut down trees in the woods near the city." Harmony (stunned): "They can't do that! Should we allow that?! (starts with him) Until I am alive, I will not allow them to kill the forest! Only over my dead body! " Arik: "Um ... We need four more people, I have to find them." Harmony (confused): "Okay, let's find them and let's go."

 They came to the market. Arik noticed Amora next to the seasonal fruit counter. Arik (waves): "Amora, there you are!" Amora (recalls): "Arik, where have you been, we haven't seen each other in years! Why you don't arrive sometime, I will prepare delicious lunch! (sees Harmony and greets her) Do we know each other from somewhere? " Harmony: "It occurred to me, too." Arik: "There's no point in explaining, we have to find three more people and go to the woods. If I explain to you, you'll think I'm kidding, you better see for yourself." Amora (wonders): "Okay ... We won't be able to get there fast, I'm old, I'm not as mobile as I used to be." Harmony: "We'll take it easy, but we won't let them destroy the forest!" Amora: "Then let's take it easy."

 Rea was next. Rea: "Why would I go to the forest?" I have an appointment at the salon! "Arik: "Listen, beautiful, I was told to bring the five of you to Magnolia, she says we won't get out of here if we don't gather there. " Rea: "To get out from where?" Arik: "From the portal! I didn't understand everything, but we have to succeed. If all of it is a nonscence I will pay to you whatever you want in this salon tomorrow, but today come with me. I have a feeling this is important. " Rea: "Okay ... if you're wrong, you have to make up everything for tomorrow." Arik: "Agreed."

 All together they went to the corporation, where they looked for Makena. She agreed to take five minutes to talk. Makena: "What's the problem?" Do you have any complaints about our company?" Rea: "This old man here says that the tree spoke and told him to gather us. " Arik: "Rea, when you say that, a woman will think we're crazy ... But, yes, that's the point." No matter how crazy it sounded." Makena (seriously): "Is this a joke?" Arik: "No, I swear! You are Team Blume, Cataleia has sent us all into a parallel future! This is not reality! Oh, I don't know how to show you I'm not lying." Makena (intrigued): "Is that tree still there?" Arik (nods): "Yes, but they may cut it down tomorrow, we have to get out as soon as possible." Makena: "Then let's see that tree, even though I think this is a joke. Let's go with my car." Amora: "We have to get another person before that." Makena: "No problem, and then let's go see that talking tree."

 They reached the clinic. Arik (at the reception): "Hello, we're looking for Lilith." Receptionist: "Lilith who's suffering from dementia? Who are you?" Harmony: "Um ... friends." Receptionist: "Strange, she's been here for years and no one has ever come to visit her ... She's in room number nine, I doubt she'll remember who you are because she doesn't remember even her own name. The only thing she knows is some story about flowers that saves the world, she speaks quite unrelated so we can't follow her. (takes them to the door) Come in, there she is. "

 I was sitting by the window when everyone entered the room together. Arik (greets me): "Hello, we came for you. Can you come with us?" I (numb): "Colorful flowers open buds next to the Magnolia tree. " Harmony (sadly): "Oh, how can we take her in this state? You see, she doesn't know for herself." Me: "And blackness takes over the blue flower. The sun shines on the magnolia. It falls down. There is no more hope." Rea: "She mentions magnolia. Lilith, is that magnolia some portal?" Makena: "How could she know? She's been here for years. " Me: "Time stands still. She will win. We're losing." Arik: "Come on, we have to take her to the tree, she seems to know something. "

 The doctors did not want to let me go with them, so they made an escape plan. Amora: "Is this necessary, Arik? We're old for things like this. "Rea:" This really gives me back the adrenaline from my younger days! (Opens the window)" Harmony (takes me by the arm): "Let's go, if there's nothing, we'll bring you back by tonight, okay? "Me: "Blue turns black. Black will destroy the world." Arik (helps us out the window): "We must go to the tree before they cut it down." Makena: "Quickly go in the car, before the hospital staff don't notice we took their patient."

 We drove near the forest, where excavators were already parked and works were being prepared. Makena (gets out of the car): "Where's that tree?" Arik (points with his hand): "This path. (We walk down the path) It's close to that walnut tree that has touched the sky - see what a tree, it's a shame to cut it down! The thieves will take it. " Harmony: "I won't let them be cut off, I'll stand in front of the excavators tomorrow!" Amora: "Let's finish this with this, I promised the grandchildren some treats. Magnolia: "This is a parallel future, if you want to really have it all one day you will have to make an effort. This is an illusion and, to prove it to you, gather around me."

We held hands and at that moment the sun shone on Magnolia. We soon found ourselves in the present, in the woods around Magnolia. We all hugged , glad to be here again.

 Rea: "How did that Catalea set us up!" Amora (to Arik): "Thank you for getting us out." Arik (pats her on the shoulder): "No problem. We were lucky to get out, we would stay there." Harmony (to me): "You, are you okay? Is your memory okay? " Me: "As much as it has been so far." Makena: "Would that really be our future?" Rea: "What are you complaining about - you were full of money and you had company! I was only worried about what I looked like, I was completely alone ... (Amora is getting ready to say something) ... Don't you dare to start with "what are you going to do when you grow old  and when you're left alone", okay, I've seen how it is now. And it's not something." Harmony:" It suited me to have puppies and kitties, but I was afraid of what would happen to them after me. " Amora: "Oh, I would love to have grandchildren one day! And more than five!" Arik (to me): "You ... You're not going to end up in the hospital alone without anyone." I (look at him): "I hope to die long before that. My future doesn't even exist. Me: "Actually, I hope that the mystical force that burns the enemy will appear, it is our only chance to defeat her.  I was created near Cataleia, transformed into the Blue Rose. Cataleia (seeing me): "Did you get out of this portal as well? Not possible! It's the best and most realistic time portal I've ever created!" Me:" If you already wanted it to be realistic then you should have made me dead. So that's how you see me, as a lost person with dementia that no one comes to and who doesn't even know her own name? (my dress turns black again) Generous. You know, you can remove the emotion of love from this planet but again you won't be the source of the greatest evil, you get nothing but a bunch of clones like you and me. It's so boring. Have a fight with someone equal to youselves, let's leave other people aside. "

 Cataleia got ready to fight and headed towards me. Andor was created nearby, standing quietly on the side and I didn't even notice him. I was concentrating only on Cataleia.

 Me: "And, do you have any other powers besides those portals?" Cataleia (tries to send me to the portal, but her powers don't work): "Why doesn't this work ?! What are you?" Me: "The most powerful villain in the world. Your powers do not affect me." Cataleia: "And how will you beat me - with rain? Will you throw a shower on me? This is a mountain, the water is freezing." Me: "Yes, just like my soul. Either way, Blue Rose controls different types of rain and I, her other side, control lightning. They fry everything in front of them in an instant. A combination of fire and water. Chaos in one brain. You killed your feelings with magic, to me it came naturally. Wish that I can immediately burn us together." Cataleia: "I will summon my army of Cupids and turn them into evil creatures that will take the emotion of love from all people, and you will not stand in my way! You can't do anything to me! " Me: "Is that a challenge?" Well, let it be. (I direct the lightning towards her, she rejects it) What the hell ... No one has rejected my power so far!" Cataleia: "I am a powerful sorceress, you can't scare me with your lightning - I will repel them as soon as you launch them. "

 I fell to my knees and clenched my fists, in which a certain amount of snow remained, and looked around. Water is a conductor, and snow is all around us!

 "Huh, Cataleia, do you think you're stronger than my disordered brain? Ha, ha ... You know how to kids they say not to touch electricity? Of that it's worse only a combination of electricity and water, and you chose the perfect place to live. Maybe it kills me too, but it would be worth it. (I transfer all my energy to the snow that takes on high voltage, frying everything within a radius of half a kilometer)

 I fell into the snow unconscious. Not far from me stood Cataleia's charred body ... and behind the nearby rock Andor's. Electricity killed them both on the spot. I woke up near Magnolia, feeling as if something had happened this time that should not have happened, but again without remembering the fight.

Part XIV - "The Fall of the Angel, the Birth of the Rose"

 Already that evening, Magnolia gathered us. Rea: "Now four enemies have been defeated and the fifth remains, right? Is Cataleia dead?" Magnolia: "Yes. Cupid's army is now under Amora's control - use them carefully, Amora." Amora: "Of course, I'll lead them wisely." Makena (looks at me): "Has that creature that kills enemies with electricity appeared?" Me: "I only remember seeing Cataleia, after that it was as if the fight didn't even happen. I don't know, probably." Harmony: "And where is Andor? " Rea: "Will you now present to us enemy number five?" Amora: "What happened in the fight?" Makena: "Will you tell us what the force that burned the previous enemies is?" Magnolia: "This will not be easy to say, really. To start from Amora's question - person who destroyed  previous enemies used snow as a conductor of electricity, that burned Cataleia. Unfortunately, I will also answer Harmony's question, and not in a very pleasant way, but that energy also burned Andor. " Me (anxiously): "What was he doing out there?!" Amora (cries): "He followed you. You probably didn't see him." Makena: "That creature killed Andor? Then it is certainly not our ally." Magnolia: "Although this murder was a coincidence, it is still a very powerful energy of chaos, it is able to destroy the world and there is no way to control it because that dark side is increasingly falling into the abyss inside, that person no longer feels the world around her, nor does she feel herself. Chaos from emptiness." Rea (wipes away tears): "I guess we are fighting against her now." Magnolia: "I will answer on your previous question - yes, I will present your the fifth enemy to you, and in the same time I will answer and Makena's as it's your the fifth enemy, that person which I have just told you about. " Me: "It seems like it will be difficult to win this time. Is there more information about her?" Magnolia: "The name of your next enemy is ... Black Rose. " Amora (to me): "Is that some sister of yours?!" Me: "No... Why does she have the same flower as me, is that an enemy who chases only me?"  Magnolia: "That ... is you."

 Images of all the fights flow through my head, including the last one. Oh, for God's sake, it was me! How is it possible that I didn't know what evil I was hiding inside?! I remembered all the dialogues, the way I killed them ... Is it possible that a pacifist who prefers to solve everything through diplomacy is capable of something like that?!

Harmony (surprised): "It's impossible that you're right, Lilith wouldn't hurt anyone!" Rea: "It did occur to me at some point, but I couldn't really believe it." Amora: "Lilith, is this a mistake? I mean, you didn't know who did it either, so it would be impossible that you didn't know it was you ... It's a mistake. It must be a mistake." I (numb): "Everything came back... I remember everything. I killed Selina, Glich, Inferno, Cataleia and, worst of all, I killed Arik. Who knows who else I can kill ... First Team Blume power - sword! (I create a sword and hand it to Makena) Kill me until this happens again and I completely lose control of myself. " Makena (in disbelief): "Maybe the key is not to kill you, but to help you control that side ... You're not evil, you know that." I (walking away): "We shouldn't risk it." (using the second power and teleporting) "

 Rea: "Where did she go?" Harmony: "I'm sorry, girls, but I'm not going against her." Makena (to Magnolia): "What do we need to do this time? Can we save her?" Magnolia: "Do what you think is right, but the only way for her to be saved is to find a balance between her two sides before she gets lost in her world." Harmony (looks at Magnolia's canopy): "Oh, your branches are drying up and blood is dripping down your bark! What's going on? "Magnolia:" Blue Rose ... is dying. " Amora (scared): "Has she become a Black Rose completely?!" Magnolia: "No... Lilith is dying." Makena (transforms): "You do as you please, but I won't let her die." Rea (transforms): "I'm going too. I don't accept that she's a villain."

 Amora and Harmony immediately transformed and all together went to search for me.

 I created a downpour to wash the blood from where my wings were, which I cut off with my sword and threw piece by piece behind me. I stood on top of the solitaire, knowing that this was the only way to defeat the fifth enemy - she could not live if I was dead. Without much fuss, I climbed the guardrail and jumped, the sooner I finish it the better. At the moment of falling, I felt that something was slowing down my fall - the girls were holding me and gently lowering me to the ground.

White Hyacinth: "What did you do with the wings?! Why did you cut them off ?! "Me: "So I won't be tempted to open them and fly away. I will defeat of the fifth enemy, don't worry, and you take care. Thank you for everything." Red Carnation (hugs me and cries): "We will not give you! You can't die! Tell that side to go to hell, we care about you!" Me (I look at her): "But she will lose control! We can't put the world in danger, you saw how powerful she is! " Pink Tulip (eyes full of tears): "We will save you. I don't know how, but we certainly will." Yellow Dandelion (touches the place where my wings were): "Does it hurt?" Me: "It hurts like hell." Yellow Dandelion: "You're losing blood ... You're going to die! Undo the fourth power!" Me: "The fourth Team Blume power - invaliditation. (I return to my original state) It still hurts, but there is no blood." White

 Dawn has come. I stand next to Arik's oak and numbly stare at it. "Arik told us that he dreamed of becoming a warrior when he was a child, just as I wanted to become a Blue Rose. I didn't even want to hurt him, and in the end I killed him. (I touch the bark of the tree) I change my Team Blume's power in exchange for his life, bring Arik back to life. I can't live with the fact that he died because of me. "

 I lowered my head and felt the powers coming out of me, going into the tree and under my fingers I recognized that the bark was changing. The tree disappeared, and Arik was created instead.

Me (shocked): "Arik! It worked! I wasn't sure if I would succeed, you have no idea how glad I am that it did! "Arik (looks at me): "You brought me back to life ?! How?" Me: "I exchanged powers for your return to life." Arik: "But you need powers to take down the fifth enemy ..." Me: "I am the fifth enemy. That version that killed you. Now I am no longer a danger to the whole world. "Arik: "Thank you ... " I: "Don't thank me, I have to apologize to you, although there is not enough apology for what I did. "Arik:" You didn't even know I was there, but it doesn't matter now. You gave up your childhood dream to save me?" Me: "That's the best for everyone. I am a sick person now, I am no longer capable of so much power. It's a little hard, but I'll get over it." Arik: "I was thinking about when we talked and about that parallel future... You know, you're right, strong men choose strong women to be equal to them, and weaker ones to protect them. Anyway either, I want to give a chance to a strong girl I'm sure she's interested in me. I don't want to be a single man walking in the woods alone in my later years. (we both laugh) I'll find her later, but now I'll take care of you. Is there anything I can do?" "Arik (returned the hug): "I missed you too. " Amora (wonders): "Since when are the two of them ...? (to me) How did he come to life?" Arik: "Lilith changed powers for my life." Me: "Yes... Team Blume has five members, and I officially no longer have the power, so Team Blume is no longer active. You still have your armies and tasks left, so the story is not over for you." Makena:" Won't you be a leader at all anymore? You gave up everything?!" I: "Yes. No power, no responsibility. (I look at Rea and Arik) I believe this was the right decision." Now the four of you are continuing your missions; Harmony will take care of plant and animal species and the environment, Makena will solve problems in the virtual world, Rea and Arik will fight for equality of people and a better and more just world, Amora will spread love among people. I will become an ordinary magnolia tree, I will exist as long as this forest exists. " Makena: "And Lilith? What about Lilith?" Me: " Don't worry, I have a plan. " Amora (scared): "To try to kill yourself again?!" Me: "No, something else. I'm going to become something I've always wanted to be." Rea: "You don't have the power anymore, what will you do?" Me: "Don't worry about me. I just want you to succeed in your missions, thank you for the moments we spent together, either as Team Blume or like this. I wish you that your life is going the way you want it to, but I'm sure you'll find a way to do it because you're four smart girls... well, and one guy... who have their own views that you believe in, and each is important to the world we live in. Believe in them and you will help the planet and civilization." Harmony (eyes full of tears): "Are you saying goodbye to us? Are you sure everything's fine?  Magnolia: "I'll take you home before I become an ordinary tree." Me: "No. I want something else." Magnolia: "What is it?" Me: "Turn me into a rose. A blue rose." Magnolia (surprised): "Do you want to become a flower ?!" Me: "Not any flower. The first blue rose. I will bleed if I am cut, as a human does, and to a true connoisseur of flowers I will present an eternal enigma, an inspiration to the artist, and to myself I will finally be worthy of existence on this planet. It's better for me than to die like this, and that would certainly happen very soon." Magnolia: "If I turn you into a rose, there is no going back, you will stay in that form forever. Are you sure you want to stay a flower for the rest of your life, no matter how long it lasts? "Me:" Yes, I want petals that will change all shades of blue, I want both the sea and the sky to be reflected in my petals, to catch that perfect blue which no rose in nature could ever catch." Magnolia: "Then I will grant your wish."

 At that moment, a flower is born in nature. Apparently, a rose like any other, because all roses are beautiful in their own way, but this was not just any rose, but the first natural blue rose that the universe ever saw. And, finally, I was worthy of her, so I shyly opened my petals and showed the blue of my soul to the world.
