 The first day of December, the first snow slowly falls and leaves a trail of its existence, and then it gets trambled by cars that rush somewhere no matter that it won't matter in a few decades. Oh, the beauty of life, we all try to leave a trail of our and then we are being trampled down as a poor helpless spider on someone's floor.

 A young woman, hidden under her hat and a warm coat, just entered the hospital building and went to the counter. Employees: "Here you come to schedule a medical exam or have you already scheduled?" Woman: "I need some work certificates ..." Employees:" All right, just tell me the name and surname for the card." Woman:" Klarissa Kayn. " An employees (giving her a card): "Doctor Mina is free at the moment, you can go to her." Klarissa: "Okay, thank you."

Klarissa (entering after knocking): "Sorry, I came for some papers ..." Mina: "Come in. (Klarissa seated) What kind of papers are these?" Klarissa: "For a job. They want to be convinced that I'm healthy ... They say that the job is stressful, so they want to check if I'm enough persistent." Mina: "And what do you think, are you?"  After receiving the confirmation Klarissa got a job. On the first day she got a pile of papers she had to check. She took a deep breath and started working.

 In the evening, she returned home completely exhausted. She took a full glass of strong alcohol, sedatives and lighter. She took two pills, alcohol and played with a lighter while she was lying on the floor. She turned the lighter on and off, then leaned it to the left forearm while it was still hot,which left blisters on skin. The pills made her asleep,so she felt asleep on the floor. She woke up late and was a little late to work, with that receiving serious criticism from the boss. That's why she had an even harder day at work and more work added. To avoid this she drank one sleeping pill and only a quarter of glass with alcohol.

 The next day, at the break for lunch, Klarissa finished the rest of her job. Paula, her colleague, offered her a lunch, but Klarissa refused with sayings that she still had a lot to do before eating.
Paula: "I suppose you were really desperate when you had to work here. The boss is my cousin, but even I see that he is a tyrant from a man. " Klarissa:" I suppose he does that because of work and discipline at work. " Paula: "Oh, hell no!He does that because of malice! Last month, one of the workers was taken to prison because Hedrich had provoked him! " Klarissa:" What happened? They had a fight?" Paula: "Hedrich seduced his wife and she left him. The man hit him, then Hedrich called the police and they took him away. He hits people where in hurts the most, and he separated that worker from a pregnant wife. I think, a catastrophe! That child will grow up without a father because of my disturbed cousin! "Klarissa:" What else he did? " Paula: "Three people in a mental clinic, all three had a nervous breakdown because of his abnormal requests, two more employees were put in prison and five were brought to suicide. I tell you, this man is crazy!"

Klarissa (upset): " How ... could he have led them to suicide?  Sunday. Klarissa slowly wakes up, realizing that she has to go to the pharmacy to buy more pills. She put herself together, dressed and went out. She didn't notice that Hedrich's apprentice was following her from the house, checked everything she was doing while she was outside. He saw that she was buying something in a pharmacy, then followed her when she entered the grocery store. He wrote down everything she had to buy: three breads, a liter of milk, rice, a little vegetable, a potatoes, an alcohol. It seemed that's amount for the whole week, given the working hours and that she would go home immediately after work. Since she lived alone she didn't need much for living, only the most basic. When Hedrich learned this informations he decided to use that with pharmacy as a perfect attack.

 Monday, Hedrich enters the office and approaches Klarissa: Hedrich: "Are you sick?" Klarissa (surprised): "What?" Hedrich: "You bought pills yesterday. I don't know what it is about, but you can not hide it because of the others." Klarissa (shocked but quickly put herself together): "I bought vitamins. They serve to maintain the function of the organism, nothing terrible . " Hedrich: "Wasn't it better for you to buy more fruit and vegetables instead of two alcohol bottles?" Klarissa (high tone): "You followed me? I don't know where you got an idea that ​​alcohol is for me - that's for guests. I don't drink. (looks down)" Hedrich: "Oh ... and I just wanted to give you this bottle of whiskey (puts a bottle on the table) I wanted to cheer you up because you look gloomy since you came ..."

 Klarissa took a deep breath. He noticed her mood, it couldn't be good. The wrong answer could be fatal. Klarissa: "I told you I don't drink, and I'm not gloomy at all, I only behave professionally."

 Hedrich was very angry inside. He had to try with a stronger weapon.

 Hedrich: "What are you doing when you get home?" Klarissa: "Isn't it a demolition of my privacy?" Hedrich: "I like to get closer to the employees." Klarissa: "So that you get them to a nervous breakdown?" Hedrich (furiously): "Where did you get this information?" Klarissa: "It doesn't matter. That's why I'll be dead in ten days. (puts her hand over her mouth, realizing what she said) I mean, I'm going to vacation. Damn it."

Hedrih: "So, this is your secret - you were planning to end your life! I knew that there was no way you were so brave. There was no need to harass you - you already had your the biggest enemy!" Klarissa: "Like that's important. It's too late for me, I hope you'll be looking for help." Hedrich (angrily): "I don't need help, it's me who puts people in a helpless situation!" Klarissa: "And that makes you happy?" Hedrich: "Not your business." Klarissa: "So, no." Hedrich: "Yes, it makes me happy when I see them hurt! I enjoy their pain as I watch them fall to the bottom!" Klarissa: "As the bully watched your fall?" Hedrich (a few seconds of silence): "You know too much. You have to be liquidated." Klarissa: "Feel free to do it, end my pain." Hedrich (looks at her): "You are sent to ruin my life." Klarissa: "No. You have done this to yourself. I am here for my morbid reasons, only our paths have merged. Maybe it's best to forget this and look at both of our business for the next nine days, after that we'll never see each other again. Can I go home? "Hedrich (normal tone):" Go, but don't dare to say this to anyone. There is no point to threaten you, you want to die anyway. " Klarissa: "You can count on it, I don't want to interfere with your life."

 Twenty-first of December, closer to the holidays, Klarissa's more depressed every day, Hedrih withdrew and Paula is looking forward to the holidays because she will finally have time to be with her husband. Hedrih didn't mistreat his employees the previous days, including Klarissa. Paula (seeing Klarissa getting up and heading toward the corridor): "You take a break?" Klarissa: "Kinda. I have to see somebody." Paula: "Okay. Hedrich's been weird these days, what did you do to him the other day?" Klarissa: "I don't know either myself. I think the truth has hit him."

 Klarissa (knocking on the door of the office): "Are you there? Can I come in?" Hedrich: "Who is it?" Klarissa: "Klarissa. The new one." Hedrich (opens the door): " Klarissa was enough. I memorized."

Klarissa (enters): ,, Am I to blame for your bad mood these days? I feel guilty. Damn it, whatever I do I feel guilty." Hedrih: ,, Good for you. I killed five people, but I'm not able to to feel guilty. I'd like to be aware of my actions. You're right, I'm a psychopath. " Klarissa: "You need treatment. Maybe there is a cure ..." Hedrich: "I can't believe I'm going to say this, but ... I'm afraid of treatment, just like you. I wanted to make a deal - if you go to the treatment, I will go too. " Klarissa (silently): "I really want you to recover, but I have to do what I was planning ..." Hedrich (shouted): "No, you don't have to!  Maybe I'm a damn bastard without emotion, but I will not let you kill yourself! " Klarissa (surprised): "Until five days ago you've been instructed that to me, but now you're stopping me?" Hedrich: "Only you understood me! Parents bullied me for several years and I couldn't say that to anyone ... I said that I will avenge everyone in my life ... I have no friends, so I have set the anger at the workers. What made you like that? " Klarissa (absently looking at the distance): "Loneliness, judging, restraining emotions and sensitivity. With that, my whole life I have to prove to myself and others. Your case is more difficult." Hedrich: "Why are you putting yourself down so much? You and I are two the opposite disorders, but that doesn't mean that it is easier for someone and harder for someone else. You see, if we went together to therapy, I would help you to be stronger and you would help me to feel guilt. " Klarissa: ,, Why do you want to feel guilty? People are evil! People are cruel creatures just waiting for the right moment to stab you in the back and let you bleed until last drop of blood, and then to laugh over your defeat! " Hedrih :, Where is such thinking from? " Klarissa: ,, You think  I have social anxiety for no reason? People have hurt me with their ruthless statements. Of course, in the end, they blame me again because I didn't let them be my friends, because I don't want fake friends beside myself! Of course, the attack on the loner, why do we need a solitary people in our wonderful, happy, communicative society!" Hedrich: ,, You are right, everyone wants to be how they want, and nobody respects anyone. " Klarissa (goes to the door): "Well, now that I've seen you are better, I have to go back to work." Hedrich (takes her arm): "Think about what I proposed to you. In any case, I will not let you make your plan come true, even if I have to tie you with chains to the chair. " Klarissa nodded reluctantly and left the room.

 In the evening, in her home, she took a glass of alcohol and slowly drank, sitting by the window and watching the snow falling. She thought that revenge was no longer necessary, given the reversal of the situation. She was just barely waiting for these three next days pass as quickly as possible.

 The next two days went quickly for everyone except for Hedrich - he hoped that Klarissa would come and say she would agree to his proposal, but that didn't happen. The twenty-fourth came quickly.

 "You get a salary today ... unfortunately. Come one by one to get your salary," Hedrich said, seeing Klarissa with the corner of his eye. The workers went in and out of the office with their salaries in hands, then went home for the day-off. Klarissa went last. Hedrich: "This is your first salary, I hope not the last one." Klarissa: "Yes, yes ... I'm sorry now, I have to settle some debts, to book my coffin and get what I need for a funeral ..." Hedrich (he stands in front of the door): "I will not stop you, I see you are determined in your intention. I just wanted to say goodbye here tonight in the company. Do it for me. " Klarissa (sighed): "Good, but without some tricks. See you tonight."

 She paid the debts and came to her house to take some things she thought she would need.

 Evening, a full moon shines above the company, and Hedrick watches the moon through the window. Klarissa enters, holding a bag in her hands.

 Hedrich: "You're here." Klarissa: "Yes. It wouldn't be fair not coming to say goodbye. I'm sorry that I didn't fulfill your wish." Hedrich: "Is there anything that would make you stay? Money, therapy, something else?" Klarissa: "Thanks for your efforts, but there is nothing that will make me stay. Sorry. I planned my death for months and tomorrow is the day. I'm sorry that I was rude. " Hedrich: "I am the one who should apologize to you. I don't express emotions ever, but can I hug you?" Klarissa nodded and they hugged. Hedrich took advantage of the situation and immediately after hugging took the keys, left the office and locked Klarissa in.

Klarissa (knocking on the door): "Open the door! You can't stop me with locking!" Hedrich: "I come with the medical workers in the morning. I had to, you will understand. Sorry. We'll see in the morning." Klarissa remained alone, locked in the office illuminated with moonlight.

 Winter morning, cold but without snow. Around eight o'clock the first snowflake started to fall from the sky. Hedrich called the staff and said they would go to the office for Klarissa, where they would go to the hospital. The hospital agreed to take them both after Klarissa was not safe for herself and Hedrih for others. The company was empty, since it was a free day for Christmas, there were no unpleasant scenes. At least, not until the moment they reached the office. Hedrich opened the office slowly, thinking that Klarissa is asleep because nothing is heard from the other side. He opened the door. The rope was tied to the chandelier, the noose tightened Klarissa's neck. She was completely pale. She was dead.

 He looked at her lifeless body with disbelief. As the medical workers removed her body from the noose, he read her farewell letter:

"Hedrich
 Forgive me for giving you such an unpleasant scene. I had the feeling that you would do this to me, so I brought the rope in my bag. I told you that you can't stop me from ending this suffering. I believe in you and I know that you will be cured or at least live a little more normal. I'm sorry for a thousand times, I feel terrible that I had to do this in this room, but I had to be dead till this day- I promised it to myself. This day makes me so depressed that even death seems easier. I hope you'll never understand this feeling. Be strong.

 They took Hedrich to the hospital and provided psychiatrist help. He had changed a lot since the beginning of the therapy until he was released from the hospital, but he could never forget the only person who reached him when no one understood him ...

Disscusion

 In the story we have two patients who have the opposite mental disorders- Klarissa, with anxiety and depression, and Hedrich with psychopathy. This is one of the philosophical stories (which I currently love to write) in which I deal with psyche of characters; in this story for the first time I have a person with psychopathy as one of the main characters, while Klarissa's disorders are nothing new in my stories. In the first part of the story we have a scene in the hospital - it is there to give an introduction to what is waiting for us later, ie, to show that Klarissa hides something.

 In conversation about Hedrich, Klarissa reacted more sharply to the mentioning of the suicide. From the first day of her employment until the last day of her life, we learned a lot about her, but also about Hedrich who isn't bad inside, but completely controlled by the disease. He uses his knowledge of psychology for bad purposes, and her knowledge of psychology helped him. However, on several occasions, Klarissa had a stronger reaction to him, which was because of her anxiety (believe me, when someone upset us, we're losing control of ourselves).

 As far as the end ... I thought of such an end from the beginning, it inspired me to write the story. A longer analysis is not needed, because the whole story is written as an analysis of the two main characters, most importantly is said. At the same time, I was afraid of this story and it was interesting for me to write it, I had to write from a perspective different from my own. During the rewriting it became clear to me why Klarissa became Melody's best friend in the Kingdom of Death- besides the fact that Melody has a eating disorder  they have common traits, of which common sarcasm, alcohol consumption and problematic psyche are the most obvious.
